Malacca one day trip

Yo~ I was having a wonderful yet a tiring day yesterday. HJ finished her two weeks in INTEC, it just passed in a blink. HJ's mum got ready 4 A'famosa Water World's tickets to let HJ and her housemates to enjoy. Only two of her housemates followed her to Tampin somehow, so she invited me to go with them. At 10 morning, HJ's parents fetched us to A'famosa. Her mum went to counter in order to get wrist bands. BUT...the tickets were only avaiable for children. There wasn't any excuse whether we add on money to get adult tickets, we can only buy it with RM40 per ticket. Oh gosh! What the hell? Why it is so expansive now? No way, it is worthless! In order word, we went for nothing. HJ and me were fine, but HL and TT(the visitors) were unfortunate. Haha! Take only photographs, leave only footprints. Yeah, we only took some photos and left out footprints in front of the entrance of Water World. Felt an instant of disappointment.

Nevermind though, we still had our second destination. Couldn't go for Water World, so we went to the historical town, so called the World Heritage City now. Haha, proud right? HJ's mum decided to go after luch time. I think we started our journey from my home at 1.45pm. We chit chatted in car along the way (Bla bla bla... No need to mention the content of our conversation larhh). Ok, reached there. Firstly, we went to the MP. Shopping, shopping and shopping. I didn't buy anything. Helped HJ to choose long sleeve shirts for her class attires. We went shopping at DP too. We spent not much times on these shopping stuffs. From DP, we walked to A'famosa Fort. We enjoyed photos' shooting there. We visited St. Paul Hill, church and so on. It had been a long time since my last visit, perhaps it was during primary school. And I revisited these tourist places. Haha~ Honestly, I felt very fun yesterday even though we walked for a long time. I've been going to Malacca so much times, I never take even a single piece of photos at there. We were crazing to capture photos and we'd taken 100 of photos! Night time, we went to Jonker street. This street bustled and flooded with a lot of people. Jammed and congested. All insane people walked along the street, and we were considered in that category last night. Were having our dinner at Da Bao stall in Jonker Street. Eating in the hot situation and perspiring all the time weren't cosy. The food weren't really delicious but more to emphasize the atmosphere. HJ's mum treated us for that meal, thanks ya! After completed the walk from the starting point to the end and from the end to the starting point of Jonker street, we tended to go back home. On the way to car parking place, we looked around the view and took photos too! It was about 9.30 pm when we started to go back to Tampin. We were surely tired, did not talk much in the car. Ok, finally reached home about 10.30 pm.

Well, I was pretty happy yesterday. Nice to meet Ting Ting and Hui Ling. They are amiable and very friendly. Hope they are being satisfy with the trip. We will have the chances to meet again.

A simply update

Nothing special during few days ago. Only a short while for tea time with friends during Friday's and Saturday's night. As for Friday, we were having a simple birthday celebration for CY. Perhaps as well as farewell party for her and shorty. They are going to UTAR for their further study. Maybe they've gone today. Went to Ice house as usual. Chit-chatting. Oh, thanks CY for her treat.

Saturday's night, purposely went out for the sake of HJ. She was back on Friday's midnight. We decided to hang out in the afternoon initially but changed to night at last. Went to fetch Ah Low before fetched HJ. It was really provoking. The main road of Taman Indah was blocked under construction and left the only one road (through Moral Uplifting Society). It was very jammed. Oh my god~ And it was so unfortunate that I drove the stupid manual car with heavy steering that day! Ishhhh! I spent half and hour to fetch two of them =.= Loo and Karen waited us at Giant. So sorry~ We went to night market, walked aroud, bought some unhealthy snacks. After a while, we went to Secret Recipe. I ate Hazel Cheese and drank Tropical smoothies yesterday. And then we talk talk talk -- bla bla bla until 9.30 something. Fetched Ah Low and Karen before went home.

And today, I slept at most of the time. The weather is very hot today!

The Days

These few days, except waiting for the JPA offer letter, I've been facebook-ing...for whole day. It is not-really-fun, but sometimes it is a fun activity for entertainment and to spend time. All my friends already started their study life, I'm the last! I'm boring~ Waiting weekends to approach. HJ is coming back ^^ Go yam cha~ What I'm doing currently? Chatting, sms-ing, blogging, etc. I'm attaching file to HJ. She is having add maths test tomorrow. My god~ She did not bring any books. Busying send her notes. The attachment is processing extremely slow!!!!

p/s:pointless again~

Teacher's Day

Our school was having teacher's day celebration today. We'd planned to buy cakes for all of the teachers. Twelves of us from 5SC1 shared to buy two cakes. Morning, about 11.45pm, I went to town with Sim Loo, Sim Yee and Karen. We were the so-called main planners. Haha~ We went to Tampin shopping, just to buy a card for writing the name of givers. The card was worthless, with expensive price =.= Somehow, we'd no choice, so we just bought it. We could not find any teacher's day card but an appreciation and thank you card. Went to baker cottage to buy cakes after that. We paid and returned to take the cakes after half an hour. During half an hour time, we went to Karen's house to fill up the card with some greeting words. Unfortunately, our mind were blank, rusted for too many months. It was fine after all, we were just vomitting and spitting some squeamish message with contents of thankfulness (copied a bit from internet).Hehe^^ We were a little bit running out of time, so rushed to take the cakes and went to school. Teacher's feast started at 1.00 pm in canteen. We handed the cakes to Mr. Ng. Wished some teachers Happy Teacher's Day. We did not disturb them as they were having their delicious meal. Were wandering the school for a while (though about 1 hour, I think). After that, we went home lorrr...as teachers had gone back too.

Hang out

A day with lesser time in front of desktop. Ah Loo invited me to hang out today. Mainly was because a VIP -- Mark come to visit us. Six of us went to Secret Recipe at 2.00 pm. Enjoyed cakes and drinks. I was having a piece of choc mud and a glass of chocolate milk shake. We sat there for 3 hours and a half. Pretty long right? Chit chatted all the times but Mark seemed very quiet and yet he was the VIP. Not really close to him but knew him through KN class. Perhaps it was a bit boring and we wanted to make a move but a bit embarrassed to voice out. Finally, we left at 5.30pm. Mark fetched Jia Min home while four of us went to Giant to buy some things. After that, went to night market, just to hang around. Bought bubble teas and curry fish ball. Then I fetched them home. Unfortunately, my honey bubble tea toppled in my car. Shit!

Memories during National Service

Though I did not like the life during NS in KSP, somehow I, perhaps all of us had a lot of memories during that period. I could say it was miserable at most of the time, where I always showed through my sour face. Undeniably, my face was always dull with no smile unless there was matter really exciting me. Since the day I returned home, I almost rust at home. Thinking to do some beneficial works but failed. Sitting in front my desktop waste my whole day time. Blogging, viewing photos, checking scholarships' status, wandering in forum, playing games, checking mail and non for the rest.

Flash back to the life in KSP, I hated it a lot but it was actually fun if I knew the way to enjoy it. Unfortunately, I was not the style, I didn't like the indoor activities. I didn't think they really bring out the main point and some of them were really boring. And I didn't like group's games with involvement of all members. I didn't really like to communicate with some of the members as I'm sort of eccentric and unsociable person but it is only meant to some people. I seem to be very unfriendly from appearance. I remembered that a Malay girl called me when I pass through aisle of dorm. She asked me whether I could smile and she asked me to smile to her. Sweat =.= After some times, Ah Foong told me that I gave her an unfreindly expression during our first meet. She said I dislike to talk and always watching people. Perhaps, my look seems to be very fierce. Somehow, it was fine after all. You will be fun if you really know me and close to me, but it takes time. Sorry about that. I have my own principles, where things I don't like means I don't like and please do not provoke me. Maybe of my serious appearance, there wasn't anyone disturb me. I mean disturbance like touching. Yeah, I don't like strangers (people not very close with me) touch me. My personalities still maintain, perhaps cant be changed.

Let's talk about the routine in camp. Firstly, it didn't give me an image of training camp, instead an enjoying camp, sort of holiday camp. It was fine in overall. But I disliked to wake up so early at dawn (5.30 am) everyday. Activities every day started off with exercise at 6.30 am for an hour. After breakfast, we would have our class at 9.00 am (for CB initially) and 8.30 am (for KN). Break would be at 10.30 am untill 11.00 am. After short break, the class was continued for an hour. 12.00 pm lunch time started. We had our free time from 12.oo pm to 2.30 pm. Noon's activity started at 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. Activity in the afternoon was varied and, such as marching, briefings, talks and others. After that, we rested for an hour and assembled for recreation at 5.30 pm. Recreation time was free time for us. We could do what we like, maybe jogging, playing football, basketball, valley ball, practising Taekwondo and marching. As for me, I didn't take part in any one of them. I always sat in the shed and chatted with friends. Recreation time ended at 6.30 pm. From 6.30 pm, it would be free time. We had our dinner, bath, and own management during that period, until 10.00 pm which was roll call. For muslim, of course they had their religious activities. Roll call, so-called people counting activity, I hated it a lot. Sometimes it ended very fast but sometimes it took very long time. I often felt vex and impatient during roll call as the people talked and coughed all the time. They could not stand quietly for short moment. We had our sleeping time after that of course.

Outdoor activities were gratifying me before I went in. Somehow, I was a bit disappointed. The best flying fox and M16 have not been caaried out until I went out. Marching, as for me, was a nice activity too. But I was unsatisfied with that as most of my team members did not know about marching. It did not matter, teacher taught us. Somehow, they could not learn properly and I lost my interest to march with them. We had only done our halang komander, which was not really what I looked forward to. I experienced it in others camp during secondary school.

I could only say that 45 days for National Service was a bit wasted. I do not think I enjoy it. I forced to be stay at there and lasted for 45 days to be considered completing the program. I lost the golden opportunity to hold a M16 gun. Only this is very regrettable. Of course, I knew quite a number of new friends there and the words " a friend in need is a friend indeed" could really be shown. I will remember the memory, as not I like NS a lot, I'm not! Perhaps can be said like this, I like the activities but not the life. And lastly, I'm a bit pround of KSP as it is not poor and it is really a good camp in comparison. KSP, so-called the five star camp. KSP rocks ~~!

Sweat =.=''

Got the offer of JPA scholarship is definitely a good news. Because of this, people around are happy - very happy. I mean my dad's friends. Oh my god~ It is very weird. I did not have VERY HAPPY feeling instead, they have. Sweat~ The day when the result of JPA scholarship came out, many phone calls from dad's friends. Ain't they think too highly of me? Finally, they knew I got it. So, you know what happened again? It was just like last time when I got SPM result. They came to my house for celebration... Sweat right? It was quite funny larrr~ Were having two celebrations - another was Mother's day. We went to eat satay at midnight. Seldom phenomena larrr. They told me my dad is very very happy for that. Is it? I wonder. Anyway, at least I have solved my study's problem currently. About the country offered, I'm very curious. I wonder which country JPA offers me. I'm worrying I will be getting local university.

Oh~ Thank God!

Yesterday, Janis sms-ed me to confirm whether the JPA scholarship offer will be released but I did not know about that news. My cousin told me the same thing like Janis asked last night, so I checked online. It is stated on website that applicants can check the result on 8th May 2009 at 3 pm. It was a bit surprising me. What I knew was the result will be known on the third week of May. So we will check the next day.

This morning, I drove to Malacca to fetch my sis back, my dad came along too. Dad went to Uncle Sim's house while sis and I were going to shopping. We were going back home about 2++ pm and reached home at 3++ pm. Somehow, the result of JPA scholarship was delayed to 5.oo pm. Finally, when it was 5 pm, sis started to check for me~ But failed to check, so others do. Until 6 pm, no result too. 7.30 pm hang out with friends at ice house. Then went to Buddha temple to have a look for tomorrow's Wesak day celebration. I received call from mum that I got the offer of scholarship. We then went to Jun's house to check it out. Somehow failed as system down. Everyone tried to check but system was closed temporarily. It was recovered after sometimes. I checked one more time for my ownself to make sure it is true. Yeah, I got it. I'm happy with it. But there are friends who failed to get felt up sad and disappointed. Please appeal for it, you may get it~ Congrats to my fraternal twin too!

I'm back - I'm released

It is very very fantastic! Full with happiness and excitement. I'm released to freedom now, I'm not jailed in KSP anymore. Thanks for the Form 6 letter as my helper. Since 5th of May, the day many of my friends went back from camp, I was feeling sad and worrying. I wondered could I be released the next day. The whole day fulled with disquiet. The situation in dorm was disorder without our leader who was already gone back. The orders given by the non-positioned members irritated me a lot. I restrained my temper and I was hoping to escape from the situation the next day. 6th of May was finally arrived. I did not join in the activity (khidmat komuniti) that day. I was waiting my dad and sister to rescue me. They were assembled on 7.30 am. Foong, Karen, Sim loo, Hui Wen and I did not attend the assembly and we were stay in dorm. We planned to make our phone call at about 8.30 am. Somehow, announcement made was calling me to go to office. " Perhatian kepada wirawati yang bernama Cheng Lin Lee, S4o6 sila hadir ke pejabat sekarang". I heard this and it was only 8.00 am. I was so happy and I rushed to office. Met dad and sis in office, sis was filling forms be half of me. She told me that I can go home. So I rushed back to dorm to pack my things just within few minutes. I just stuffed all my things into bags. I left some junk foods to my dorm mates with notes that show I've gone. Perhaps the atmosphere would be sorrow if my dorm mates were there but luckily they went for khidmat komuniti. I did not take my bags, insteads, Sim Loo, Hui Wen and Karen helped me to carry. They felt excited for me and a little bit worried about themselves. I returned all the things like full celoreng, blanket, plate and others to logistic store. After all procedures done, and my mobile phone taken, I leave KSP. Good Bye KSP! And good bye my friends.
